Ordering Your Chair or Other Item
To place a furniture order you may contact me either by phone or email. We will then work together to get a final design that you desire. Custom orders are welcome. This will be your piece of furniture and it needs to be what you want. Once we have reached a final design a 50% deposit is required. Upon receipt of your deposit I will be able to put your order into my schedule.
Lead Times:
When you place an order for furniture it will be built one piece at a time. I do not have an inventory of furniture so delivery will vary depending on how busy I am. Prior to submitting a deposit I will be able to give you a good estimate on delivery. Because I work alone you can be sure that your order will get my full attention.

Finishes:
We will of course have discussed finishes and colors during the ordering process. About two weeks prior to your piece being completed I will send you color samples so you can view them in the space where the piece will go. If what I send is not quite right, we will adjust the finish until you are satisfied. Windsor chairs are painted and I use Old Fashion Milk Paint which allows for a wide spectrum of colors.
Hand crafted furniture, particularly Windsor chairs, is not like mass produced factory furniture. Curved and carved parts are made using hand tools that leave behind characteristic tool marks, which is what provides the unique charm of wood that is hand crafted. During finishing I spend time smoothing but inevitably some tool marks will remain.
Delivery:
I will notify you when I have completed your piece and that is when the balance of your order will be due. Method of delivery is one of the things we will go over during our initial discussions. If it is convenient you can pick up your piece from my studio or, depending on your location, other arrangements can be made. Taxes, packaging and shipping costs are not included in the price of the piece.

Payment can be made by either check, credit card or PayPal.
